What a bummer. I hate corporate BS like that. They should take a more humanistic approach towards your situation. As long as you’re productive, I don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t be able to have flexible hours at a job (other than this silly corporate desire to dominate employees’ lives).

I agree; that sucks that they are jerking your chain. As long as you are there during core hours…why should they care? obviously they care more about jamming everyone into a box than then do about a happy and productive employee.
